Emerging from the dynamic graffiti scene of 2000s Barcelona (ONG & 1980 Crew), Debens (Barcelona, 1980) has cultivated a distinctive artistic voice. His formal training in Fine Arts expanded his practice beyond the street, encompassing collage, assemblage, and installations. Relocated to Paris since 2012, he seamlessly transitions between studio work—marked by vividly colored canvases and layered collages—and his continued engagement with urban art. Debens’ signature style, a fusion of abstract improvisation and neo-geometric forms, pulsates with energy. Driven by a constant exploration of new compositions, his work is a testament to unbridled creative freedom, making each piece uniquely identifiable.
